Mini Sephora Christmas Haul + Stila Snow Angel Color Palette Swatches

I purchased these items on Sephora's website mid December.. but they didn't come in until around Christmas time, and because I was away in Disneyland for Christmas.. I did not get them until I got back

Now I finally have time to take pictures and do swatches =D

so here are the 3 things I got :
 1. Sephora by OPI: Good Tidings We Bling
 2. Bliss Ingrown Eliminating Pads
 3. Stila's 2012 Holiday Collection: Snow Angel Color Palette

    

I didn't do a swatch of the Nail polish but I did swatch all the colours in the palette

The Palette has 12 Cheek Colours and 18 eyeshadows, it also includes Stila's stay all day waterproof volumizing mascara plus a little booklet with instructions for 6 looks

Sephora Haul!

I received an email from Sephora last time telling me that I have $20 to spend in the store since I am a VIB.

At first I didn't think I was going to use it because i am on a tight spending budget since I have to pay for my CSC (around $500 something) exam and I also wanted to buy xbox+kinect (almost $400)

but then I just had to find this perfume sample I got last time and sniff it. I instantly fell in love!

It was the Dolce & Gabbana light blue. I usually do not use any perfume, but as soon as I smelled it I was like THIS IS MY SCENT!!  (i'm pretty sure a million other people uses it as well but at least non of my friends or family members use this perfume)

So I went to the Sephora in Yorkdale and asked if they had any in the gift set form (since its cheaper), but they said they ran out because its a really popular perfume, but the lady was nice enough and offered to make some calls to other Sephora to check the availability.

Finally she told me Fairview had only ONE set left and they are going to hold it for my for 48hrs

So on Monday.. I finally and picked it up!!

I love the Sky/Cloud velvet lid. Very clean and simple. The scent is very refreshing, It's light and has a citrusy  smell and it lasts a long time. I can still smell it through out the day.

My NuMe Curl Jam Came In!!

So about a week and a half ago I ordered a set on NuMe called the Curl Jam and it finally came in a few days ago!

The Face Shop Haul!

I went to Pacific Mall today, a shopping trip well needed and deserved, haha.

I actually went to the mall hoping to just browse around and purchase a few necessities, however, as I was about to leave, I discovered that they just opened The Face Shop and of course, being me, I had to go in and check the stuff out.

Actually ended up buying a few things lol. :)

So if anyone doesn't know, The Face Shop is a Korean cosmetics brand that I believe, is pretty famous in Korea. I've always heard about them, but never really had the chance to purchase anything from them, except for today! Which I am really happy about actually.

I've also noticed that there are quite a few Korean cosmetics stores opening in Pacific Mall, which is pretty good for me, I don't really have to order these products online now and can just pick them up at the mall AND without having to wait for them or pay for shipping!

My stuff from cosmetic love finally came!!! I just opened it and took pictures

I am super excited BUT!!! I got charged with duty ='( .... $16.03 of duty tax... well not really.. the receipt says duty: $1.94  HST: $4.14  and Handling costs: $9.95   grrrrrrrrrr!!!! damn you customs!!!!

This is actually my first time getting charged for stuff from cosmetic love and my mom is still going on about " oh, you buy too many things online and go calculate if it was worth it to pay 16 dollars of tax and blah blah blah"

and yup.. I am writing this blog with her yelling at me in the background

This Flat Iron is a mouthfull!!!  I just placed an order online today and bought it!!!! Because my pink Solia one broke on me... I don't know what happened... probably because I dropped it too many times on the floor.. this is so sad

I seriously thought I wouldn't need to buy another flat iron... This is actually my 3rd one.. Its always after 2 years.. and just conveniently, after the 2 years warranty.. my flat iron decides to just not heat up when I press the ON button





I actually bought the flat iron at a newly discovered site, and so far, I am pretty impressed

Forever21 Haul

I have sinned again... I promised myself I would not make another clothing purchase until October... but what did I do?? I just had to go on Forever21's website and I saw their buy one get one free on all the sale Items...

So I went crazy and spent a bit over $100.

Now I am anxiously waiting for my purolator guy to arrive at the door in the next few days! It so sad how I can have a casual conversation with my purolator guy and mailman now because I shop so much online (-_-)
