Anyways, while I was shopping for gifts at my "favourite" mall, Pacific Mall, last Thursday, I bought some necessities for myself as well, of course lol. The one I wanted to share with everyone the most was this Korean brand of facial masks and skincare products, called, CNP Laboratory.
It costs me $19.99 Canadian dollars and this is before tax, pretty expensive considering it only comes with five masks in the box and If you ask me, for this price, this is a bit of a rip off. If you buy any other brands, such as the famous Taiwanese facial mask brand, My Beauty Diary, they come with 10 masks, are cheaper and in my opinion very effective.
Other than the price, what interested me in this product was that this is a two step routine. Before you put the mask on, you have to put on the brightening ample. This is some sort of serum you rub onto your face that supposedly nourishes your skin. Then after leaving it to set, you use the mask which is suppose to leave your face feeling "silky smooth" and looking radiant.
This mask is also very moisturizing and should be used twice a week, from what the salesperson told me. You also leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes and of course after you cleanse your face well.
So far, I've only used it twice, but I'm hoping that I can see a little result of whitening and lightening of my scars. It does, however, leave my skin feeling really nice and smooth. :)
P.S. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

When using these facial masks, are you suppose to use them over a long period of time to notice a difference? Anyway, cool purchase! How much is it in Korea? I know pmall is really expensive :( boo.
ReplyDeleteFor this specific brand, I've only been using them for 2 weeks now so I'm still in the process of evaluating their effects. For facial masks in general, I've been using them for over a year now and I have noticed a difference: my skin is smoother, it's not as dry as it used to be (especially in Winter when my face normally gets dry) and my scars have lightened. It was around 2 months that I could see some results. :)
DeleteI'm not sure about the Korean price but if you can get a hold of them online I think they'll probably be cheaper than the ones at pmall since they tend to overprice products there.
